Since these lights are producted in short runs of 10-20 at a time, I am doing a full pre-pay order. It will come in two flavors, the complete assembeled light, and in kit form. The complete light will include the light head, assembeled and tested and a Li-Ion battery and charger. The light kit will include housing, powercable, power button, rubber gromet for power cable, glass lens, and assorted hardware.

We are a company with a good idea for personal lighting. When Engineering Luminescence was started, I did not have $600 or more to buy a light for mountain biking, and being a person who wants the biggest bang for the buck I started doing some research. I found that current LED technology, when implemented the proper way, can yield a very nice light and at a decent cost.

The lights we make offer great light output and build quality. We have designed the light to be able to take on most anything the trail can dish out, even the glass lense is extra thick to withstand any impact.

Currently we are in the final development stages of our initial product, which is a three LED based light that is powered by a Li-Ion battery pack. The light has a low and high mode for very simple operation while on the bike. The light will put out over 700 lumens and be able to light trails without any problems for almost five hours on high.

Our lights are also equipped with a combination of o-rings and buttons that are sealed to the IP67 rating so they are able to withstand anything Mother Nature can dish out.

Every light is hand-assembeled and test ridden on one of the best local North Georgia mountain bike trails. We want to make sure that it can hadle the rigors of riding with an actual ride before you get the unit yourself.
